In my opinion Atancia is a story of self discovery, a story of how someone learns to trust their instincts. It has mystery, grief, sorrow, love, many twists and most of all, the unknown. Atancia is filled with so many emotions that keep you turning the page. However, she feel’s guilty for trusting in him and not the man she loves.įor a debut novel I must give major props to Wren Figueiro. The only person she can talk freely to is Matt, Ben’s younger brother. Atty’s has many questions but she never really gets answers. Finding out about her mother and who she really is Atty’s main goal but with her adopted grandmother, Nana falling ill, she runs away and tries to put it all behind her. What does she need to be protected from? Well you’ll just have to read it to get the full details! 😉Ītty is shy private girl but her life will change drastically when Ben walks into her life.

She doesn’t know anything about her family history as her mother left her when she was just a child for her own protection. Atancia (Atty) Clark is a Durand though she knows it not. We are introduced to the world of the Durand, beings who have been cohabitating with humans but who have special powers. Atancia was a unique story and I really enjoyed it.
